National Grid Supply Drops To 675MW
The national grid electricity supply in Nigeria dropped significantly on Monday. The supply fell from 3647 megawatts to 675 megawatts within one hour.

This happened after the number of power plants supplying the grid dropped from 21 to 12. Electricity distribution companies alerted their customers about the supply constraints.
The companies said they were working to restore the supply as soon as possible. The situation improved later in the day, but the supply was still lower than the morning peak.
