What we collect

If you join our email list or contact us, we keep the details you give us (your email address, and your name and message if you send one). We count how many times each story is read, without identifying you, to show “Most read” and improve the site.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google's Ad Settings. Learn more about how Google uses data from partner sites. We also remember your light or dark mode choice on your device.

Email and WhatsApp

You can leave our email list at any time and leave our WhatsApp Channel whenever you like. We never sell your details.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (and the UK GDPR if you are in the UK) you can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you. Contact us and we will respond.
